We are proud to kick off our Fall season with a series of FREE Events hosting reknown author and speaker, Father James Alison from Sao Paulo Brazil.

James Alison is one of the most exciting and engaging speakers utilizing Rene Girard’s Mimetic Theory today. His books include Faith Beyond Resentment, Undergoing God, Raising Abel, Knowing Jesus and The Joy of Being Wrong. Come to any or all of the events listed below!

• Monday Sept 14th, 7pm at Landisville Mennonite Church
  Speaking to the class of the School of Peace Theology
  (VERY Limited guest space available - must RSVP at 392-1550!)
  "Reflections on Mimetic Theory and Understanding the Bible"
• Tuesday Sept 15, 7pm at Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia
  Germantown Campus, the Hagen Amphitheatre
  "Faith Beyond Resentment & the Joy of Being Wrong"
• Saturday Sept 19, 10am at Akron Mennonite Church
  Fellowship Hall, Refreshments Served RSVP 392-1550
  "Jesus, Violence and Modern Views of God"
• Sun Sept 20, 8:30am and 11:00am at
  Community Mennonite Church, Lancaster
  Sermons during both Worship Services with Refreshments served between.
