What has Preaching Peace done for you lately?

Lectionaries: Are you one of the 6,000 weekly readers of the commentary who receives ideas and inspiration, historical and critical information on how lectionary texts can be read from a peace perspective on Sunday morning?

Occasional Articles: Perhaps you are one of the additional 4,000 folks who hit the site each month for similar resources or to learn about mimetic theory and how our view of anthropology influences our interpretation of the scriptural text.

Bible Studies: Maybe you have attended one of our transformational Conferences or Seminars and you want to learn more about how the Old and New Testament relate or how Jesus’ favorite text, the 2nd half of Isaiah informed his life and ministry, or what the book of Hebrews has to say about the preeminence of Jesus over the law and the sacrificial system.

DVDs: Do you lead a small group who has used one of our DVD series to learn how our theology matters, that whether we believe in the “Abba” of Jesus or some other violent God really makes a difference in our ability to follow Him?

These are exciting and challenging times for Preaching Peace. They are exciting because a growing number of people like you are eager to learn more about the peace perspective by which Jesus interpreted God and lived out his faith.

We want the doors of Preaching Peace to stay open, the production of adult DVD curriculum to advance, the books to be completed for publication, seminars going on in local communities, and the commentaries to keep flowing.
